Oak Mountain High School Young Life has become a place for Oak Mountain kids to make it their own. Since early 2008, the Young Life
community has been intertwined and has helped change the lives of Oak Mountain kids. From Young Life "Club" taking place on Thursday night's at "The Barn", to leaders hanging out at football games and basketball games with Oak Mountain folks, YL continues to make an impact on the Oak Mountain community.
At Young Life, we have leaders that are willing to put
aside much of their free time to walk with kids through this strange
time of life; high school.
Young Life "Club" takes place on Thursday nights during the school
year at the Young Life Barn located in the front of Sunny Meadows (3108 Sunny Meadows Lane). Club is a time for everyone and
anyone to come, hang with their friends and to just have fun on a Thursday night. Club lasts about an hour where we sing songs that everyone
knows, play games that are talked about throughout the rest of the week,
and close the night with a message from one of our leaders about the
Good News of Jesus.
We also have Campaigners, which is an interactive time where
students can ask the hard questions, learn how Jesus is relevant to
them, and grow in their faith. These are also weekly meetings but a time
meant for going deeper.
